Deleting specific phone calls from the Log

Published by Steve Litchfield at 11:54 UTC, July 13th 2006

Question:

Q. I have a particular contact who I'd like to keep a secret. How can I stop calls to and from this person from being recorded in my smartphone's records?

Answer:

A. You can delete these call records manually, but there's no automatic system in place. To delete specific entries, start up the Log application (usually under 'My own') and go into 'Recent calls', then browse to the entry you'd like to remove. Then press the 'C' button or use 'Options | Delete'.

N/A
Sure; just dip it in the toilet, throw it against a wall, drive over it with a car, etc. Guaranteed to reduce the lifetime of your handset. ;)
