Q. Where on my smartphone do all the words that are added to the predictive text dictionary get stored?
Q. Why does PC Suite seem to be "Connected" but not let me browse my Nokia's files or use the various Suite utilities?
Q. I can send MMS messages, but I can't actually receive them. When someone sends a picture to me, I don't see the actual picture. but a link to a page on my network provider's web site instead. I've double checked the MMS settings and they seem to be correct.
Q. When I've missed a call, Log just shows me the name of the caller. While this is very friendly, it would be useful to know which number they were calling from (e.g. home or mobile) and also show the number itself, so that I could dial back from my own (cheaper) landline. Can this be done?
Q. After months of faultless service, my Sony Ericsson P800 has started failing me. Incoming calls now sound the wrong ring tune (a custom WAV file of mine) and sometimes I can’t hear the caller and they can’t hear me. Everything’s set correctly in ‘Control panel’, so I’m at a loss. Do I need to send it in for repair?
Q. I often use the keylock feature of the P900 but that option seems to be missing, both in flip closed mode and also in flip open mode, where the ‘Battery | Lock screen’ option is greyed out. I’ve tried restarting the P900, to no avail. What’s going on?
Q. I switch my P900 to ‘Flight’ mode overnight, in an attempt to try and prolong my battery life. I’m often travelling and away from an easy way of recharging and I’m regularly mystified by the way the P900’s battery gets sucked dry even when I’m not using it.
Q. My P910i has frozen on me. After inputting my PIN, the device freezes while still showing the startup screen. I've tried resetting, obviously, to no avail. The only thing of note was that I'd installed half a dozen shareware utilities a couple of days before.
Q. How can I find out whether there's a newer version of the operating system for my Sony Ericsson P900? I know it supports user updating but I can't see a list of versions anywhere on the web.
Q. I’m always struggling to find and launch applications on my Sony Ericsson smartphone, the simple act of navigating between them seems to take an eternity. What do others do to speed things up?
