SMobile's PIN Guard offers extensive data protection for your UIQ device. PIN Guard combines ease of use with SERIOUS data encryption technology, providing secured access and file encryption/decryption capability.

PIN Guard allows you to:

• Encrypt/decrypt any of the most common file types, including:
  
  • Documents (.doc and .txt),
  • MS Excel spreadsheets (.xls),
  • Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf),
  • MS PowerPoint files (.ppt), and
  • Pictures (.jpg, .gif, .bmp).
• Status/progress bars show the state of all files of a given type, in internal memory and on the memory card.
• Easily see what, if any, files are unprotected, then simply check a box and tap 'Apply' to encrypt all the files of that type.

A LOGOUT function exits the main screen and presents a password prompt. Only by entering the password can data encrypted on the device be decrypted. Thus PIN Guard protects your device from unauthorized use as well as safeguarding your file data.
