N-Screensaver (Automatic Keypad Lock)
For Nokia Symbian 6.1, 7.0, 8.0
This application allows Symbian phone to have automatic keypad-lock; regularly, there is no automatic key lock on Symbian phone. Moreover, you can customize the tone when the application is locking your keypad. Finally, either an analog clock or a digital click would be displayed as a screen saver.
The below screen shot is the main page of the application: Options Tab and Settings Tab.
Option Tab - consists of 3 menus:
- Screen clock - shows status of the screen clock.
- KeyLock timer - shows the status of the keylock timer. You can set how long you would like the application to wait to lock your keypad.
- KeyLock tone - shows the status of the keylock tone. The user can select the song or ringtone to play whenever the application locks the keypad.
In order to change the configuration of the above menus, click "Options" button to the following main controls:
- Change Value
This control the status of the Screen Lock, KeyLock timer, and KeyLock tone. By highlight the menu that you would like to change the value, then 'Options'->'Change Value' to toggle from off to on or vice versa.
- About
This function shows the information about this application such as contact of the developer and the version of the application.
Setting Tab consists of 6 different settings:
- Lock key combination - you can configure the shortcut of the keypad lock here.
- Clock skin - you can choose whether to show your screen as analog clock or digital clock.
- Lock after (second) - you can specify how long you want to wait for the application to lock your keypad.
- Audio file - you can specify the song or ringtone that you would like to play when the application locks your keypad.
- Audio Volume - you can specify the volume of ringtone when the application locks your keypad.
- Play max (seconds) - you can specify how long you would like to play the ringtone when the application locks your keypad.
The 'Options' button for the Settings tab has the following menus:
- Play audio file - this function allows users to play the highlighted song to test the volume.
- About - this function shows the information about this application such as contact of the developer and the version of the application. (Please refer to the Options Tab's About)
