1. Introduction MobiBackup is a kind of software with powerful function of backup and restore mobile phone contacts and sms. MobiBackup supports to backup the personal information of mobile phone to the server or individual mailbox. When personal information is needed to backup such as data renew or mobile phone change, it could realize the sooner and easier data restore. 2. Installation and uninstallation For the best performance, it?s strongly recommended that you install this software onto the memory of your mobile phone instead of any other storage card. In case you want to uninstall it, you can follow the steps described in the manual. 1. Installation: If you have downloaded MobiBackup _V1.0.sis, there are two ways you can install the software on your mobile phone. It?s strongly recommended that you install the software in the memory of your mobile phone to guarantee the best performance. The stability and calculating speed would be influenced if the software is installed in any other storage card. Install through Nokia?s PC suite: After downloading the installation package MobiBackup _V1.0.sis onto your computer, you can connect your mobile phone with your computer. Then double click the setup program. Please choose ?yes? when a dialog saying ?If you want to install the application in your mobile phone?? shows up. After a dialog box saying ?Completed? shows up, you will finish the remaining procedures on your mobile phone. Please choose ?yes? on your mobile phone to start the installation procedures. Always choose ?yes? till the end to accomplish the installation. Install directly in mobile phone: find the file MobiBackup _V1.0.sis, click it and always choose ?yes? till the end you can complete the installation. 2. Uninstallation 1). Please open the program management of application program. 2). Please see MobiBackup in ?Installed program? list and click to unload. You can unload sucessfully according to the direction. 3. First-time Operation Whether register or not will be directed by first using MobiBackup. 1. Unregistered users： New users need to register and set password, mobile phone number, delivery mailbox and internet access point. Choose ?Options-> Unregistered? to direct your first use. Set your mobile phone number and delivery mailbox after finishing setting password. Finally please choose the internet access point to register. After set complete, a direction box ?successful registration? will be popped up. You can use each function of MobiBackup. 2. Registered users： If you have registered MobiBackup, you are directed to input registered mobile phone number, password and delivery mailbox after you choose registered user. And then choose your internet access point to log in You can use MobiBackup after registering successfully. 4. Options Settings After entering the main interface of MobiBackup, you can click the left key and enter the options setting. 1. Backup path setting: 1) Backup path: You can choose to backup to mailbox or to server. Default backup to your initial setting mailbox address while first operation. Backup to the server: If you select this path, your information will be backup to the server of Trustmobi. Backup to mailbox: If you select this path, your information will be backup to the assigned mailbox. Backup data will be saved by encrpting. It could be renewed to mobile phone by using this software. Therefore, please do not try to modify the document name and context in order to keep the complete data backup. 2) Receiving mailbox: Send the setting backup information to mailbox address. 2. Change password： You can change your password here: clicking ?options->change password?. After entering old password and new one, the new password will be submitted to the server by connecting network . 5. Backup Backup Contacts: Please click ?backup? menu in the main view of software. After picking ?Contacts?, your contacts will be backup to the server or to the mailbox which was assigned by yourself. Backup SMS: Please click ?backup? menu in the main view of software. After picking ?Sms?, your short messages will be backup to the server or to the mailbox which was assigned by yourself. Backup Contacts and Sms: Please click ?backup? menu in the main view of software. After picking ?Contact and Sms?, your Contacts and short messages will be backup to the server or to the mailbox which was assigned by yourself. 6. Restore If you need to restore backup data, please make sure that data are stored in the server. Data restore is needed to connect to the server. 1. Restore the backup of the information to the server: Please click ?restore? menu in the main view of software. The list which is about backup content will be downloaded from server. Please select the content which you would like to restore from the backup list. After clicking ?options->restore?, the content will be restored on your mobile phone.the content are still kept after restoring successfully. When delete is needed, please click ?Option? to delete. 2. Restore the backup of the information to mailbox: First forward backup mail to the mail sender and make sure that the attachments are forwarded at the same time. After sending successfully,please click ?restore? menu in the main view of software. The list which is about backup content will be downloaded from server. Please select the content which you would like to restore from the backup list. After clicking ?options->restore?, the content will be restored on your mobile phone. After successful restore, the content in the server will be deleted automatically. Whilerestore is needed, please repeat the above process. 7. Upgrade You can get the latest version if you upgrade the software timely. If the network error leads to link failure, please repeat or try later. MobiBackup will be upgraded though Internet. Mobile phone network service provider may charge a certain amount of flow if you download though GPRS.
