Instructions |
- Check that your phone is on one of the two compatibility lists below.
- Check that your phone is configured for applications to access the internet. If it is, skip to the next step. If it isn't, visit your carrier's website and locate the Internet Setup page. It may be under a category such as Internet Settings, Phone Support, or Using the Internet. Alternatively, you can search for "GPRS Settings" or "Internet Configurator". Once you have found the page, insert your number and phone model into your carrier's Internet Setup page to receive an SMS. Save the SMS settings to your phone.
- Purchase MobiChat. An email containing your MobiChat account details will be sent to you in one to five business days. You can use MobiChat immediately though - see below.
- Install the application to your phone and start it. If you have your MobiChat login details, enter them. Otherwise, leave them blank to use the temporary trial and select 'Connect'. Once connected, "MobiChat - Online" will be displayed. Now you are ready to log into your messenger accounts.
- To log into one or more messengers, select "Options" then select "Connect". Select the name of your instant messenger from the list and enter your messenger login details. Select "Connect".
- MobiChat will then connect to that instant messenger account and your contact list will appear. Repeat for your other messenger account.
- Once you receive a message saying that MSN and Yahoo have connected, you can start chatting! Remember to check your email and enter your MobiChat account login before the trial expires.
