Galactica P800

Description:

Using the laws of physics and Java programming, two galaxies are simulated as they collide with each other.

It's nice and relaxing to watch, like watching a lava lamp. At the same time it's interesting to watch the physics of the two galaxies colliding in space. Just watch the stars as they are being pulled by the gravity of the two galaxies as they interact with each other. Watch the swirls of stars being formed as the main galaxy rotates.

Usage:

You may control the simulation and step back and forth in time by using the scroller on the side of the P800 phone.

Click-in the P800 scroller: to switch between high and low res. Low-res uses 133 stars for the simulation and high-res uses 693 stars.

Scroll up and down P800 scroller: to increase the step, up and down. Each step is defined as an abstract eon.

Tap on the screen to alternate between pause/play.

Close the flap to exit (clicking on any other application also auto quits Galactica).
