.:: Global Mobile Access Enterprise Edition ::. is an innovative application which allows you to access your home or office files from your mobile phone. You can download audio files (mp3, mid, wav...), your pictures, photos (png, jpg, gif, bmp, wbmp..), and short videos (mp4, 3gp...) in order to use them as your ring-tone, wallpaper, include them in your MMS messages or e-mails and enjoy it whenever you want.

  • Tested working on Nokia 3220, 6230, 6630, 9500; Sony Ericsson K300i, K500i, K700i; and Samsung SGHE316.
  • The Content share server requires Static IP address, (P2P) no IP version coming soon.
  • Serve your ringtones/pictures/videos/ on your home/office PC and download them on your phone on the move.
  • Save files to Phone's FileSystem or "Downloads" folder, manage them easily and play them through GMA player.
  • Use downloaded files as ringtones/pictures/videos, include them in your MMS messages,e-mails.
  • GMAe works on any phone supporting MIDP2.0/CLDC1.0 MMAPI1.1.

  • audio/midi - MIDI (GM, GML and SP-MIDI)
  • audio/x-wav - WAV (PCM)
  • audio/x-tone-seq - JSR 135 tone sequence
  • audio/mpeg - MP3
  • audio/imelody - IMelody
  • audio/amr - AMR
  • audio/mp4a-latm - 3GP (MPEG-4 AAC LC)

Supported Video Formats:

  • video/mp4v-es - 3GP
  • video/h263-2000 - 3GP

Supported Image Formats:

  • JPG, GIF, WBMP, BMP, PNG.

NOTE: Please make sure that you have full internet Access on your phone, Please ask the phone service provider to configure your phone for full internet access. The phones are by default configured to access internet over WAP, this restricts the application with full access over HTTP. You should ideally be using setting which have an Internet APN rather than a WAP APN.

Please buy the product after making sure it works on your phone, the product ships with a trial key for 3 days.

Here’s a current example of setting up your phone for full Internet access -

Carrier: Cingular

Device: Sony Ericsson k700i

1. Subscribe to a Data Connect plan with Cingular.

2. Make sure the phone is using an Internet access.

On k700i, create an GPRS setting:

Main Menu -> Connectivity -> Internet Settings -> Internet Profiles -> New Profiles - Add

Name: GPRS (as the user defines)

Connect using: Cingular GPRS

Internet mode: HTTP

Use Proxy: No

IP Address: ... (blank)

Port number: 8080

User name: (blank)

Password: (blank)

3. Make sure Java App. on the phone is using the same GPRS setting.

On k700i, Main Menu -> Connectivity -> Settings for Java -> Internet Profile -> select the same profile used in Internet Settings; in this example, select GPRS.

Note: When you access Internet, a Globe will display at upper left hand corner, that shows you are accessing Web with HTTP, Internet access.
