Prepare for your
important days or projects by knowing how many days you will
have! Also get to know what DATE AND DAY OF WEEK it will be in a
number of days from now! You'd probably don't want to count the
calendar when there are like hundreds of days to count (or even
less), but this program can count thousands accurately really
fast. There are also many other uses that has to offer from the
10 practical functions that it offers – even a calendar “Date
Search Engine”.
With thousands of downloads world-wide and lots of
great feedback, the new version looks to make even more success.
Now it’s smarter and better explained with help in each
screen. This is probably the most complete and practical calendar
counting/searching mobile java program out there! Works on almost
all java-enabled phones including Symbian phones.
Improvements
from version 1.3
There
are many changes and adjustments in this version but the real new
thing is the “Date Search Engine” which can do things
like “Give me a list of all the Friday 30th in
the next 5 years”. You just enter the fields you want and
leave the rest and start the search.
10
Functions
1.
Count Down/Up
– Use this function to count to a future date (how many
days are remaining until then) OR count from a past date (how
many days have passed since then). The result would also have the
day-of-week of the date entered.
2. Count to Future
– Use this function to count the calendar into the future
by entering how many days and/or weeks to count forward after
today.
3. Count to Past - Use this function to
count the calendar into the past by entering how many days and/or
weeks to count backwards before today.
4.
Between Dates
- Use this function to count the number of days between two
entered dates.
5. Search Engine – This is the
“Date Search Engine”. Use it to search for dates that
have the pattern that you specify. Just enter the fields that
match the pattern you want to search and leave the other fields
empty.
6. Next ...day of Week - Choose
the day of week (e.g., Saturday) and get to know what’s the
coming date for it instantly (e.g., the date for the coming
Saturday).
7.
Last ...day of Week
- Choose the day of week (e.g., Saturday) and get to know what's
the previous date for it instantly (e.g., the date for the
previous Saturday).
8. Date Plus Days –
Similar to the “Count to Future” function but here
you get to specify the starting date also.
9.
Date Plus Days
– Similar to the “Count to Past” function but
here you get to specify the starting date also.
10.
Leap Year Check - Find out if the year entered is a leap year
or not.
Some
Fun! Ask
somebody for his/her Birthday (Date) and then use the "Count
Down/Up" function. You'll know what day of week
he/she was born and how many days was he/she on earth! Tell it
back and your friend will be amazed!
NOTE FOR HISTORIC
DATES: This app uses the Gregorian Calendar which is the
calendar that we use nowadays. Dates from the Julian calendar are
NOT compatible. Therefore, dates that were historically noted
long ago (before 1752 or 1582) or B.C. dates that were noted with
regard to the Julian calendar (or other calendars) must be
converted to a Gregorian Calendar date before using with this
program.
