ChatMate is a mobile application that allows you to chat and send photos to any other mobile user through internet. You just have to 'invite' whom ever you need to chat by entering their phone number. If they have ChatMate installed on their phone you can chat with him straight away. Otherwise you can hit 'Send ChatMate URL' command from menu so that other person receives an SMS containing a URL where he/she can download and install the application.

Another most useful and amazing feature of ChatMate is that you can take photos using your phone camera and send it to your mates. If you don’t have camera on your mobile don’t be upset, you can always receive photos from your mates. ChatMate can be installed on almost every phone that supports Java application. It also help you to chat with more than one person at a time (like group chatting). ChatMate even helps you to create different chat rooms with any number of mates.

ChatMate also provides a Chat Log which shows the history of all the incoming, outgoing and Missed Chats. ChatMate makes it easy to keep in touch with your buddies. In Series 60 phones, you can hit 'Minimize Screen' command to run the application in background. When ChatMate is running on background, phone will ring as if you receive a normal phone call when a chat invitation is received.
