MATCHING PAIRS DELUXE

Matching Pairs Deluxe is an enhanced version of the simple game ''Matching Pairs''. The aim of the game is to match up pairs of images. This is the ultimate in ''Matching Pairs'' games. This game was on Handango''s recomended list for some time.

The user can choose from seven different sets of images:
Animals, Cartoons, Famous People, Flowers, Sci-Fi, Shapes or Chess Pieces.

To keep the game competitive, Matching Pairs Deluxe keeps extensive records of four different types of scoring:
MISSED - this a measure of how many times you missed an attempt to match two pairs. Basically a failed attempt to match an images pair.
FORGOT - this is a measure of how many pictures the player has seen but failed to remember where they are in order to match a pair.
TIME - A measure of how quickly the game has been completed. Shorter the time the better.
FORMULATED - A measure which is calculated and designed to be as fair as possible by measuring each games difficulty and by using the above score types in a formula to provide a reasonably fair scoring method. The formula can be seen in the Guide section of Matching Pairs Deluxe.

At the end of each game the player is presented with all the scores and rankings in a neat table. The player can enter their initials by using a graphical, customized QWERTY keyboard.

UNIVERSAL LOTTERY

From the main screen you can access previously recorded lottery numbers, the settings screen or the main start screen. The font sizes on all the following screen shots are slightly smaller than actual sizes when the application is run on the P800/P900/P910

The settings screen allows you to change the number of Random numbers produced at one time. The maximum number is 12. The range or span of Random numbers can be easily configured. The minimum span value is 0 and the maximum span value is 999.

The main random number generator screen generates the numbers according to the settings. High quality random numbers are generated by combining two 48-bit seeds, which are modified using a linear congruential formula. One seed is the current date in milliseconds the other is generated by the users behaviour. This combination gives excellent results. Use the save button to store your numbers to the database.

The records screen has a database which records up to the last 20 sets of random numbers. With each record the time and date is also recorded. Easily navigate up and down the records. The most recently record is number one.
