Blog Photo Diary puts your photos, videos, audio and text onto the Internet directly from your phone for an instant online media-rich web diary - at any time, and from any place. (Don't know what a blog is? Read on below...)

You can send individual diary entries, or you can create many entries, and batch them up to be sent all in one go.
- You can send several types of media file: image, video, and audio.
- You can add many images/media files to a single blog entry.
- You can compose entries offline, and save them in the Outbox. You have the chance to edit them too, back in the Compose tab.
- You can accumulate many entries, across many blogs, and send them all in one session.

Blog Photo Diary is compatible with MovableType, Blogger and Radio Userland (metaWeblog) blogs.

PLEASE NOTE!: Blogger.com support is limited to text only - images & other attachments cannot be uploaded. Its a Blogger.com limitation we cannot work around, sorry.

NOTE: this is a blog client. To use it you will need a blog (of course, we do give you access to our demo blog so you can familiarize yourself with the application).

What is a Blog?

Blog is short for 'web log'.

A blog is an online web diary - to the viewer it?s a web page with entries in chronological order, to which you can add images, video, and audio. It?s a neat way to publish thoughts, and in the case of the P800, to publish simple content without going near a PC. Neat!

Here's some terminology:

Blog server: a web server that maintains many user?s diary-like entries in time order as a web page, with other useful functions such as searching, monthly categorisation, and so on.

Blog: a diary, log or journal. Commercial blog servers can support many thousands of individual blogs if needed. Personal blog servers may only have one blog.

Blog entry: a single diary entry, with a time and date stamp. It can be a mixture of text, images, videos, or audio files. Blog entries are normally entered using a PC-based application, but we let you create entries on your phone and send them directly to your blog server.

Not all blog servers support video, image and file sending. Be sure to check their capabilities first.
