At the first start Best Protect will ask you to define a password that will be used for all cryptography operations performed by Best Protect.

Please don't forget your password! Your password won't be stored anywhere on your device in order to highly increase security. So there is no way to access encrypted data without a correct password.

You can always change your password using "Change password" command later. Please note: this process will take some time as the program must decrypt all encrypted data with an old password and encrypt it back with the new one.

Next time when application starts it will show a password prompt screen. You have to enter a correct password to continue.

There are 5 tabs for your convenience where you can add private files. They are Pictures, Audio, Video, Documents, and Custom files.

All your private files are organized as a list (so called private favourites list). When you add a file to the list and encrypt it this file disappears from its original location and is stored in Best Protect encrypted database now. When you decrypt the file it is returned to its original location and removed from secure database. For example, if you added a picture to Best Protect list and encrypted it (made it secure and invisible for all unauthorised persons) then "Pictures" application won't show this picture when you start it.

If you want to unsecure your picture and use "Decrypt" command in Best Protect for it then you can see this picture again in "Pictures" application when you start it.

Note: you can view your photos, listen voice notes, start your private documents directly from Best Protect as well.
