Background Music
Nokia Symbian 7.0, 8.0
Your conversation gets more interesting with Background Music. This application allows you to add music or sound effect while you are talking on your Symbian phone. This application is to make your conversation with your special one even more special.
The application’s main page shows the status of the application: ON & OFF. If it’s ON, you are not able to configure any settings and the background tone will be played according to your Background Tone settings. If the status is OFF, you can configure the Contact Settings & Music Settings. To toggle between the two settings, you have to use the right or left arrow keypad.
Contact Setting Tab
Press “Option” to show the following options:
Music Setting Tab
Once you have started the Background Music, press right arrow to access the Music Setting Tab. Now there will be a list of tones and sound effects that are available. Press “Option” to show the following options.
Call Function
When you are on the phone with the one who is in your Background Music contact list, the following screen will be shown.
While your conversation goes on, you can change the Background Music settings as well:

Contact Setting Tab
Press “Option” to show the following options:
- Set On – to turn application On or Off

- Add contact – to list out all the contact on your mobile phone. After you have selected the contact, you can choose the tone for the desired contact. Then the desired contact and the tone are shown on the Background Music contact list.

- Modify contact – to change the current setting of the contact such as the background tone, status, and volume
- 1. Song – to select the background tone

- 3. Song volume – to set the volume of the background tone

- 4. Repeat song – to select whether to repeat the song or not

Music Setting Tab
Once you have started the Background Music, press right arrow to access the Music Setting Tab. Now there will be a list of tones and sound effects that are available. Press “Option” to show the following options.
- Play – to play the desired tone or sound effect

- Record new – to record your own voice to use as a tone or effect

- Remove – to remove the desired tone from the application

- Add files – to add a song or a ringtone from the internal memory or MMC card into the application. So that, you can select the song to be your background tone.

- About – this function shows the information about this application such as contact of the developer and the version of the application.

1. Music – to change the song or tone
2. Hide – to hide and stop using the Background Music
3. Play/Stop button – to play or stop the song or tone
4. Show the songs’ or tones’ names that is being played
5. Volume control – to adjust the volume of the Background Music
