Back in November of 2002, the United States Congress along with President George W. Bush established under law the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, aka the 9/11 Commission. This report done by this commission, an independent, bipartisan panel was instructed to examine the facts and circumstances surrounding the attacks on September 11. Then identify lessons learned, and provide recommendations to safeguard against future terrorism.
