AAS Review Awards

Awards are given out automatically on the basis of the score a program or game gets in a review. Only the very best programs and games qualify for an AAS award and you can be sure that any award is a sign of quality. You can see a list of programs that have one each award by clicking on the appropriate icon.

Is the sign of a game or program that has been reviewed by All About Symbian and has scored over 80% in that review. These programs and games are defintely worth a try.
 

For games that receieve 90% or more there is the Mega Game award. This is rarely awarded and any game that gets this should be considered a must for your phone!
 

Applications which score 90% or more get the Mega App award. Rarely awarded, especially among applications, this award signifies a really good app that is an essential on your device.
 

The Zeplinn award is for outstanding achievement in the field of really bad software. For software which is full of hot air.

Software authors are invited to link to reviews of their program, game or service. We can't give everyone an award (it would make them pointless), but if you've just missed out and want to point your visitors to the review you can use the image to the left.

Scores Guide

But what do the scores actually mean? Here's our full breakdown on how the scores relate to each other, and what that means about the app we'e reviewing:

Score %	What does it mean?
90-99	All About Symbian Mega App: Welcome to nirivana!
80-89	All About Symbian Recommended: They don't get much better than this.
65-79	Above average app, but lacking that bit of spark to make it great.
51-64	Bog standard, run of the mill, average, middle of the road, medioce
50-50	Nobody gets 50%. Except perhaps Advanced Lawnmower Simulator 2
40-49	Oh my god, what were they thinking - it's a leaked beta copy!
25-39	Never mind giving them hugs, it could be swarming with bugs.
00-24	The Zeppelin Award for the product full of the most hot air possible. Do we really think someone will release something this bad?
