If you've got Android 1.6 (have a look in Settings->About Phone->Firmware version) and you're in the US then you can now get the new version of Google Maps, complete with the navigation system we saw launch in version 2.0. There's already a hack to get it working outside of America, but we'd like to see Google getting the 1.5 version out (for the Hero) too. If you're lucky enough to be in the US with Android 1.6, head to the Market to grab the app. Link - Google Maps Navigation Credit - Mike Scofield Read on and add your comments

08:25 HTC HD2 Camera issue confirmed as Hardware Defect MoDaCo
Just a few days back we published information on a software bug in the HTC HD2 Sense Calendar. Well that could be fixed by a software/ROM update which HTC could release, but much more worrying is this new issue. It has been established that the HTC HD2 Camera has a hardware defect. All pictures taken with the device exhibited a Pink/Purple hue. Several users have contacted HTC's support and received following answer:QUOTEDear valued HTC customer, Thank you for your enquiry about your handset. This is a hardware issue and you can contact your re-seller to exchange the device for another one or contact us and we will send this device to be repair. If these steps have not helped, please let me know by responding using the link provided and I will be happy to check again for you.An ongoing discussion is under way over at xda-developers.A quote from that thread:QUOTEHi Mike, Thats not a software problem, our apologies. I can now confirm we have established this being a hardware fault. Unfortunately at this stage it is too early to determine exactly where the fault lays but it most certainly is not a software related issue. If you can ask CLove to swap it, please do so, if not we will come and collect it for repair. You can arrange this by calling 08458900079. Best RegardsThis seems like a serious issue. Can you replicate this problem? It would be interesting to see if all HD2's in the marketplace currently suffer from this issue. If you have a HD2, please post your ROM versions, build dates and whether you have this issue or not.If you have the issue it is recommended you contact the re-seller and/or HTC. Let us know your experiences.[Via MobileTechWord and Xda-Developers]
