Bitween announces beta of Remote Control for P800

Remote Control is one of the most technical complex programs available for the Nokia 92x0 giving remote control of a PC to the device. Now this software looks set to be availble for the P800.

SDK now available for free download

The Sony Ericsson P800 UIQ SDK is now available for free download from the mobility world website here. But it seems that the emulator will only be able to run C++ applications when the Code Warrior software is also present.

P800 Delayed Across The Board?

The Register is reporting a growing cloud of evidence that the P800 is having problems in keeping the Symbian OS stable, and many markets will not see the Phone till into 2003.

P800 Emulator for J2ME Developers

SonyEricsson have made available an emulator to allow J2ME developers to test their Java application ready for the release of the SonyEricsson P800 and T62u.

Sony Ericsson P800 SDKs - free version soon

It looks like the furore over the charges for the P800 SDK may be having an effect. According to The Register in this article a version of the UIQ SDK will be made available for free. This version will not inlcude the Metrowerks RAD IDE program, and is most beneficial to Linux users (thought the Gnupoc project).

Sony Ericsson Launch P800 Application Proclamation

Sony Ericsson have launched a developer competition which they are calling the P800 Application Proclamation. Sony Ericsson in conjunction with Metrowerks and Handango are aiming to encourage developers to develop using Metrowerks software innovative and cutting edge applications for the launch of the P800.
