-
Up close and personal
With the N97 mini's steel backplate
-
Day one ends for Steve
I'll be covering things from home tomorrow.. But Rafe and Ewan will be flying the flag at Earls Court 2 tomorrow as well. Let's hope tonight's Symbian party doesn't take too much out of them!
-
And so it begins...
Earls court 2. Bracing myself for less shiny toys than last year though...
-
Tieto - a new name to me...
Have been shooting a video interview with Jouko from Tieto - they're doing some good work with Qt and seem a big player, watch for their ideas in Symbian^4
-
Keynotes getting underway
Lee Williams - SEE is an unconference.
-
466 features coming in S 3 and 4
-
Biggest stand of the show?
Sony Ericsson keeping a relatively high profile stand in a show which seems to be a little smaller than recent years?
-
3D mapping from NAVTEQ
Driven by technology from Imagination, the graphics acceleration chip company.
-
The Satio interface
The Sony Ericsson front end was more useable than I thought it was going to be. Disappointed not to see more kinetic scrolling though... Sony Ericsson have organised the apps in folders so that app screen scrollbars are rare...
-
Head to head with the Satio
I've been putting the Satio through its paces - did a head to head test of camera quality with the Nokia N86. Though until I see the results on my home displays I won't be able to pass judgement!
-
Jimmy Wales of Wikipedia takes the stage
-
NAVTEQ mapping car
An opportunity to see how NAVTEQ gathers and validates mapping information.
-
Wow. So much girl power
Samsung may not have any new firmware for you, but they've got your aching neck catered for!
-
Audience at SEE09
There were 3000+ registrations. Would guess there are about 1500 people here at the moment.
-
Red Bend
Great to see Red Bend again, the folks behind the over the air updates in all Nokia smartphones
-
Ewan collars Lee Williams
What an open guy - and getting more open by the second as Ewan draws him out! Look out for an audio podcast in the coming week...
-
LiveTalkback app at SEE09
-
SEE 2009 under the stars
Or at least that's the impression. Nokia/Ovi stand in the foreground...
-
David Rivas keynote at SEE09
How Nokia builds on top of Symbian
-
Lust, lust, want, want
It's that blessed N97 mini again - and I want one! 8-)
-
Qt on Symbian demo video
Qt gets its share of keynote time at SEE09.
-
The famous resistive multitouch Stantum rig
Always mind blowing, but still a year or two away from any production phone, I reckon...
-
Ovi apps
David Rivas tells us how he watched Obama inaugaration thanks to Joikuspot!
-
Steve reboots his N97 at the Sony Ericsson stand
-
A panel in progress
...in the huge main theatre at SEE 2009
-
Airship time
Gotta love promotional radio controlled models - witness this Teleatlas airship... Couldn't spot the controller though...
-
SEE 2010 in Berlin
But need to focus on this year!
-
Trying to win a Satio
Sony Ericsson don't seem able to lend us one for review yet, so we've been trying to win one! No joy as yet 8-(
-
Two monster camera phones!
The Nokia N86 8MP and Sony Ericsson Satio get personal with each other...
-
More gratuitous Satio photography...
Opinion seems to be divided on the Satio, but after my own hands-on, I'm certainly happy to give the device the benefit of the doubt...
-
The Symbian Ideas Board
The huge board with which Symbian are enabling the public to contribute ideas for inclusion in future versions of the OS and apps. See also ideas.symbian.org to get involved further.
