Summary:
The S60 Summit 2007 was held in Barcelona. On display were solutions from right across the S60 ecosystem as well as the latest S60 devices. S60 has certainly come a long way since the launch of the Nokia 7650.

Samsung SGH-i400 Closed
The i400 is a small device, and in slide closed mode will easily slip into even small pockets.

The i400 is surprisingly thin, which should make it more attractive to the average feature phone user.

Samsung SGH-i400 vs SGH-I520
The i520 is for 3G markets where as the i400 looks to over emerging markets or the cheaper end of the market. They are both based on the OMAP 2430 chipset.

The production model of the i520 is different to the prototypes. It has a different material on the back which is much easier to grip. A rubbery type material which is a great change.

Google i400
As with the i520 the i400 has a Google search built into the idel screen. It will also liekly ship with Google Mobile tools including Google Maps, GMail and Blogger.

Black Theme
The Black theme seen on the i400 is shared with the i520. Its the likely default on non operator version of the i400.

EDGE connection, 2 Megapixel camera and QVGA Phone. Also a capable music phone will support for MP3, WMA and AAC.

The S60 Expo was divided into different themes. Extended Markets show cased how S60 is reaching out to different market areas and different target markets.

This demo showed of the accelerometer in the 5550. It was used to control a ball rolling game.
