Summary:
CES 2007 in Las Vegas was the location for the launch of the Nokia N93i and N76. It also served as a chance for Nokia to introduce some its idea to an US audience. This gallery displays a variety of images from CES 2007.

CES 2007
CES is the Consumer Electronics Show. Spread over several convention centres and hotels in Las Vegas it is one of the largest shows of its kind.

N800
The N800 is Nokia's second Maemo (linux) based Internet Tablet.

N76 Keypad
The keypad has a metallic finish, but the tactile feedback remains good.

N76
The N76 which was announced yesterday in a thin Nseries flip phone. It features an FM Radio, 2 Megapixels camera and runs S60 3rd Edition Faeture Pack 1.

Tripods
There were accessories on display too. Here we see the Tripod accessory that works with a range of phones.

Devices on Display
All the current devices were on display in a corner that was set up in the style of the Nokia Flagship stores.

Demoers
With plenty of demoers on hand visitors were able to get a look at the new handsets. Things were look a lot busier when I checked back later.

Bluetooth Printers
HP A716 Bluetooth printers were being used to show off the results of the camera's of the Nseries devices and Bluetooth printing.

In the roof of the tent various Nseries words hang from the roof. Objects float in the remaining space.

Everyone wanted to visit the Nseries booth including Rover.

N800
The back seats of the Nokia car had N800 (Nokia's new Linux based Internet tablet which was announced yesterday) embedded in the front head rests.

N91 8GB
Inside Nokia were showing off their latest and greatest devices and a selection of the Nseries software and service solutions. Here we see an N91 8GB being used to power the music functions of a car.

Nokia N95 typifies Nokia's strategy. A device that is part of a wider network and one that draws on many of the trends of Web 2.0, communities and social media while adding its own unqiue mobile twist.

850 million people use Nokia products on a ay to day basis making it the single most sucessful company in terms of numbers or users reached.

Towards 4 Billion
We were reminded that mobile are becoming ever more pervasive and are expected to reach 4 billion people by 2008.

Nokia has a twin goal of delivering great features and richer experiences.

Keynote: Gate5
We were shown a live demo of the technology Nokia recently acquired from Gate5. Smart2Go is going to be available for Symbian and Windows Mobile.

Keynote: Eseries devices
Nokia talked up its business focused Eseries phones. We can expect to see more Eseries phones in due course.

Keynote: New technologies
Nokia says we can expect to see the first WiMax devices this year. These will include Nseries multimedia computers. Nokia is supplying Sprint with both network infrastructure and devices for the WiMax network it is currently deploying.

Keynote: Part of Web 2.0
Nokia's CEO was also keen to underline Nokia's resolve to integrate internet into their products. However he stressed that it was not just a case of fitting to mobile, but rather thinking about what mobile could bring from its unqiue perspective.

Keynote: N93i Announced
The N93i was also formally announced. It is an updated version of the N93. Changes include a slimmer profile, a redesigned side joystick and an improved screen.

Keynote: Vox Blogging
The partnership with Six Apart was also formally announced. Vox is a personal blogging service that puts media at the centre of the personal blogging experience. The Nseries devices are perfact companions acting as recorders for those personal moments.

The N76 was formally announced. The phone leads with a style emphasis but retains the capabilities of its Nseries siblings.

Nokia Nseries
Nokia Multimedia have their own tent / booth in front of the main convention centre. This is the first time Nokia Multimedia have had a large present at CES (preiously it had been the mobile phone division).
The outside looks like it has been lined with black plastic bin liners, but it is a very differen story inside.
