Nokia N78 (Nseries)
The Nokia N78 is the new entry level Nseries device (still a relatively high end phone of course). It has a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS for navigation and location functions, 3G and WiFi connectivity, and an FM transmitter (for sending audio to radios). Its runs S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 (the first S60 phone to do so). It can be seen as a replacement for the N73 and as such is likely to be one of the best selling Nseries devices.
S60 Summit 2008
A selection of slides from the S60 Summit 2008 seminars with commentary. The topics ranged from the use of widgets to the future of software development and the importance of usability at the OS and platform level. The photos are a selected number of some of the slides shown at the Summit and should give a general overview of some of the topics presented.
Nokia 5320 XpressMusic
The Nokia 5320 XpressMusic is a mid tier S60 device with a music focus. However it also includes other Ovi services such as Nokia Maps, Share Online and N-Gage (including gaming specific keys). It has a Say and Play function (voice control of music) and dedicated music play back controls as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. At 220 Euros (before taxes and subsidies) it is the cheapest S60 device [at launch].
CTIA 2008, Las Vegas
This gallery offers a number of photo highlights of CTIA 2008 - showcasing a number of things that caught Rafe's attention. The focus is on providing some commentary rather than a comprehensive round up. CTIA was light on news this year, but there was still plenty to see.
Samsung SGH-i450
The Samsung SGH-i450 is a mid-tier music focused S60 phone from Samsung. Its features a double slide form factor similar to the N95. The top slide has a touch sensitive scroll wheel which can be used to navigate though the music application. There's also HSDPA connectivity and a 2.0 megapixel camera.
Samsung SGH i550
The SGH i550 is Samsung's top spec S60 phone, but retains the value price point typical of Samsung's S60 phones. It has a 3.0 megapixel camera, integrated GPS, and microSD slot. A unique feature (for Symbian phones) is the presence of a roller ball instead of the typical D-pad.
Nokia N96
Nokia's new flagship Nseries once again pushes new boundaries. The focus is on the video and TV space - downloadable content is provided by video centre while the integrated DVB-H technology provides live TV (where supported). There is also a 5 megapixel camera (with dual LED flash) and integrated GPS.
Nokia N78
Nokia's new entry level Nseries, the N78, is the evolution of the Nokia N73 and the N70. Its candybar form factor and relatively small size hides a decent camera, WiFi and on board GPS which now has software support for automatic geotagging. There's also an FM transmitter for sending audio from the device to any FM receiver.
Nokia 6210 Navigator
The Nokia 6120 Navigator is an update to the 6110 Navigator from last year. It has been slimmed down considerably and boasts better specifications and an on board compass (magnetometer). The 6210 runs S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1.
Nokia 6220 Classic
Nokia's 6220 Classic looks like a normal phone, but it packs specifications to match the top Nseries phone from last year - the Nokia N95. 5 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, and an inbuilt GPS. It runs S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2.
LG KT610
LG's second S60 phone (following on from the LG KS10). The KT610 is a clamshell device. On the outside is a small screen which allows access to basic functions. Inside is a QVGA screen with a full QWERTY keyboard. LG are pitching the device at compulsive IM and SMS users.
Samsung G810
The Samsung G810 is a top of the range slider using the S60 software platform. It has a 5 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom and built in GPS. There´s also WiFi and HSDPA connectivity.
Mobile World Congress 2008
The biggest mobile event of the year. Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona sees all the top manufacturers and indsustry players making announcements and showing of their latest technology. Keep track with this live photo gallery from the event.

Nokia World 2007
Nokia World 2007 saw more announcement around Nokia's Ovi strategy. Other highlights included Comes with Music and seeing some of the R&D projects from Nokia on the show floor.
Samsung S60 Phones
Photos of Samsung S60 phones announced at the Symbian Smartphone Show 2007. These included the GPS equipped SGH-i550 and the music focused SGH-i450. The i450 features a unique touch sensitive scroll wheel, while the i550 has a trackball instead of a D-pad.
Symbian Smartphone Show 2007
Symbian's Smartphone Show sees all the members of the Symbian ecosystem get together to show off their latest offerings. This live photo gallery offers an insight into what goes at the event and supporting activities.
Nokia N95 8GB
The Nokia N95 8GB is a tweaked version of the N95. It has more RAM memory, a redesigned back cover with different build materials. There's also a bigger battery inside and updated multimedia keys. There are plenty of on board software changes too.
Nokia N81
Nokia's middle of the road Nseries device is aimed at music lover and gamers. It looks set to be one of the main phones for N-Gage fans thanks to the provision of specific gaming keys. However it is also one of the first Nseries to support the Nokia Music store.
Go Play Event
At the Go Play Event at the end of August 2007 in London Nokia launched the N81 and N95 8GB. The Nokia Music Store (UK) was also launched together with the Nokia new generation N-Gage gaming platform.
S60 Summit
The S60 Summit 2007 was held in Barcelona. On display were solutions from right across the S60 ecosystem as well as the latest S60 devices. S60 has certainly come a long way since the launch of the Nokia 7650.

Nokia 6120 Product Photo Gallery
The Nokia 6120 really pushes S60 down into the mid tier of Nokia's device portfolio. It is one of the smallest S60 devices to date. It still packs a powerful feature set including HSDPA connectivity and is on of the first S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 phones.
Nokia E65
At 3GSM 2007 Nokia announced the E65 - a slider for the Eseries (business) range of phone. Notable among its features are one-touch keys which allow easy access to key functions such as contacts and group calling. It might not have the glamour of its bigger borthers, but it still packs a punch.
Nokia E90
Nokia's Communicator series goes S60. The E90 is Nokia's top of the range business phone - a phone with a phone. It opens clamshell style to reveal a full keyboard and large internal screen. Its built like a brick and looks a bit like on too.

Nokia N95 Sample Photos
Here are a selection of sample photos captured on the N95. These are from an ealry firmware version and the quality of the camera capture has since been improved. However they still give you a good idea of just what the N95 is capable of.
Nokia N93i
The N93i, announced at CES 2007, was a follow up / variant of the Nokia N93. It retained the transformer form factor, but added alayer of style with a mirror finnish. It's 3 megapixel camera and optical zoom made sure it stood out from oridinary cameraphones.
Nokia N76
At CES 2007 Nokia launched the N76. The N76 was a thin clamshell style Nseries, reminiscnient of Motorola's popular RAZR series of phones. However as an S60 device it is capable of much more than your average fashion phone. The down side is it does seems to attract finger prints.
CES 2007
CES 2007 in Las Vegas was the location for the launch of the Nokia N93i and N76. It also served as a chance for Nokia to introduce some its idea to an US audience. This gallery displays a variety of images from CES 2007.

Open Studio New York
At the Open Studio New York event in 2006 Nokia launched the N95, N75 and a number of Music Edition handsets. The N95 drew most of the attention with its ground breaking feature set: 5 megapixel camera and integrated GPS (including a full mapping solution). It innovated in the form factor department too with its double slider.
