I had an nokia n97 earlier (long time since i used it) but now my niese have birthday and my idea was to give her this phone, But when i start the phone up,
it asks for Lock Code and it is so long since used it so i have no clue at all what it can be, I have tried 12345 and 0000 and all my personal passwords with no luck,
is there a way to hardreset from this point and reset/remove this lock code?

How To Hard Reset Nokia N97
The traditional method won�t work as the N97 doesn�t have the old keypad. After you�ve backed up your data onto memory card/pc/ovi, turn your phone off and simultaneously press these four buttons circled in red.

i got exactly the same problem with Nicronix.
I just bought a second hand N97, and after playing it around i decided to hard reset it, in order to start fresh since i bought it as a second hand device.
i tried to put in the known code 12345 or 0000, but it seems these two codes doesn't work with my n97.
i also tried to push the all 4 four button as suggested, but it also doesn't really do anything.
so i really need anyone help, on how to hard reset n97.

It is difficult to hold all 4 buttons down at the same time and then keep them pressed for long enough, but once you manage to do it you will be able to hard reset your N97. See this link:

I no longer have an N97, but did use this procedure once when I still had mine. You may need to use 3 or 4 hands, but I used some mini g-clamps to hold 3 of the buttons down.

i actually did the hard reset by pressing the four buttons..
just like you said.. i actually need several attempts to do it right...its a bit tricky..
