It will also play the newer 3ggp files created by Hantro 3.4 and the official nokia software.

You can try the 7650 video app from the Nokia Web site, I know this created files in 3gp format, it might play back in mp4, but I havn't tried it.

The T-Mobile app is only legally available from certain carriers, the Nokia one is free for all, I suggest you try that first.
