Volunteer Wanted! Help needed! N97 owner needed.

Hi,

As you may have seen in previous thread I have an N97 that refuses the charge!

In order to try to fix the problem, I need to have access to battery with some charge. The 2 batteries I have are completely flat!

If I send somebody 2 batteries, with a return envelope etc, would someone be able to charge them for me, and then post them back?

Why not buy a desktop charger from ebay. They come with a spare battery, and you will get it before you receive anything you send out to volunteers. I have one and it works great, it also has a usb port on the top if you want to charge both at the same time. Hope this helps.

Do you have a link for what you bought?

I can only find a desktop charger, but no spare battery included.

[EDIT] Just had another look and have found that this item is in Hong Kong, so it'd probably take at least a week to get to you. All the UK sellers seem to just sell the chargers without batteries. Sorry :(

Murphy's law strikes again!

The charger arrived yesterday, but on opening discovered that the seller has sent the wrong one....

Now awaiting a response from the seller.

Oh well......

I received this charger and battery yesterday and am now using the battery after charging overnight.

Despite it saying it was to come from Hong Kong, it actually came from Frankfurt in Germany. The whole thing and battery looks very, very cheaply made but seems to be working ok.
