Clock Settings

I have just noticed that my phone thinks its location is GMT +32, which is wrong as I am actually in GMT, where in the phone is the option to change this.

thanks

Eck

In other threads World Clock Pro was mentioned as the culprit, if you have it it is worth investigating.

Ok Installed world clock, somehow changed it back to GMT, (very happy). Restarted my phone to make sure the setting held, still there, (still happy) connected to OrangeUK GPRS WAP and guess what..... back to GMT +32:00, (not happy) must be something screwed on their WAP gateway or somin. Anyway, I have now just set it as manual and there it will have to stay :(

Go into Extras/Clock/Settings all the way down tha bottom is the setting for auto time update, turn it off as it is not supported, I found my GMT zone completely wrong, time and date out as well.
Do this as well as turning it off in World Clock Pro.

I think the giveaway here that the problem lies with your service provider is the fact that it shows GMT +32hrs. World clock will only adjust Time zone to a legal time zone.

Phone your service provider or you will be forced to disable auto update.
