N86 debrand and product code help

I've searched all over for info on debranding this phone to no avail.

I assumed that i could use Nemesis Service Suite to change the product code, but i can't find any Euro product codes to use.

Not helped by the phone not having a dedicated forum on here.

OK, the best resource for debranding is www.nokiausers.net

This link gives a general overview of debranding. It's based on the N95, but the N86 8MP works exactly the same way.

This link gives you all the N86 8MP product codes

And, yes the Nemesis Service Suite is definitely the way to go.

Taken from the website in the link posted above.
How do you know what product code to use?

0566656: EURO 1 Indigo
0580413: EURO 2 Indigo
0580449: EURO 3 Indigo

I used product code 0566656 with no problem at all

I suppose there's always a bit of a risk doing it with NSS, but mine worked fine.

Good luck!

n86 debranding

I got an n86 through ebay which was locked on T MOBILE UK. I got the unlock code (through ebay) with success. I used NSS to change product code (greece/cyprus) don't remember now the code.
My problem though is that I still find things related to T MOBILE. For instance: when it is looking for available internet connections T MOBILE is in the list. In addition, in ringtones it shows somehting like tmobile.mp3. When i try to select that it says file not available.
If i connect again with NSS the product code is the one I defined (greece/cyprus).
What i don't see that it relates with t mobile and it was there before debranding is the t mobile's theme the background and the startup screen.

Just for the records I did a RESET through Settings and everything related to T MOBILE disappeared.
Ragarding the phone I am comming from N95 8gb. I have to say that n86 is a marvelous phone. Except the characteristics is faster has a much much better screen. Ermm... and it looks better than n95 :P
