have you used the NSS method to debrand your N86, because as per my other post, my N86 was bricked, i got another one today and i don'y want to brick that too!
I got an n86 through ebay which was locked on T MOBILE UK. I got the unlock code (through ebay) with success. I used NSS to change product code (greece/cyprus) don't remember now the code.
My problem though is that I still find things related to T MOBILE. For instance: when it is looking for available internet connections T MOBILE is in the list. In addition, in ringtones it shows somehting like tmobile.mp3. When i try to select that it says file not available.
If i connect again with NSS the product code is the one I defined (greece/cyprus).
What i don't see that it relates with t mobile and it was there before debranding is the t mobile's theme the background and the startup screen.
Just for the records I did a RESET through Settings and everything related to T MOBILE disappeared.
Ragarding the phone I am comming from N95 8gb. I have to say that n86 is a marvelous phone. Except the characteristics is faster has a much much better screen. Ermm... and it looks better than n95 :P
