Can't update language, changing language code, but NSU say have latest software

I bought a N97 from US.

Used NSS to change the language code to Norwegian. (Since I am from Norway)

Then tried to use NSU to update my phone so I could get Norwegian firmware on it.

But NSU says, I alredy have the latest firmware so it wan't install anything 😮 !

Is there anything other than waiting for new firmware I can do. Installed now is 12.0.024. :con?:con?:con?:con?

What do I do, is there any norwegian codes for RM-507 or is that imposible?

What does RM-505 and RM-507 means?

almost certainly it will reject the product code change .. as that code is for RM505

The version you have is RM507 .. I did a quick check and I think you will struggle to get Norwegian Language support.

Is it possible to flash the phone from RM-507 to RM-505? With using example NSS?

Do anyone know where to find the files?

I have just bought a new 'Nokia N97 mini' from Hong Kong, and have a similar problem, I would also like to have a Norwegian language on it, or at least a Norwegian typing language, since we have letters that doesn't exist in English.

I looked at the languages I have and the type, as you posted in a previous post.
Mine says:
Language 19
Type RM-505
Does this mean that I can get Norwegian language on it? And if so, do anyone know how, or where to find instructions to do so?

I vote other.... as I wrote in the other post.. I dont believe you can convert a RM507 (USA) to RM505 (everywhere else in the world) properly without losing the 3/3.5G signals as that is the physical difference in the phone - requiring a different crystal.

Good luck with trying to find a buyer for it..
