Contacts
Dear Pros,
Could I store 4000+ contacts on the P800?
If so, what is the storage request?
Thx

Currently using Nokia 7650, with 3500 contacts, but dancing on the edge of the 4MB limit...
Zak, the 4000+ contacts might be sound interesting for a normal phone user, but not for a PDA. I am using mobile phone for communication (business mainly), syncing with the corporate office PC network.

Yes how many contacts is the limit for the P800?Would this depend on memory size or would it be possible to store more contacts on the Memstick?

The sync stops with "DXP SyncML Module" error, then says it is finished.
NO!!! It is not finished!

Is 1000 contacts a hardware or software limit for P800 ???
sorry did not get this.
I would also like to buy a P800... I would like to add around 2000 contacts.
The announcements of the P800 say one can go to UP TO 1000 contacts...
or can I have more when I use a memory stick???

As an experiment, why dont you try to get rid or backup your other files on the P800 or move them to the memstick(pics, wavs, other sounds, games etc..) at least clear up around 8-10mb of space and sync again. Please post if its succesful.

4000 contacts need nearly 4 MB, so I think it is possible to do.
