Text message question

Is the white envelope icon for a text message supposed to change when you reply to that message? I thought it did, but my E90 is now showing all white envelopes with no way to tell whether I have replied to any of them or not. Is that normal?

White envelope only indicates the item is a text message . Contrary to eMail with an @ in the envelope .

Thanks for the reply, I was just wondering if the white envelope was supposed to gain a green arrow or something like that coming out of it when you have sent a reply to a text message. For some reason I thought it showed that.
