Playing mp3

I have used the mp3 player in the phone a lot!! (listening to my 3 songs :-? ). I replaced with 3 new songs yesterday. And when I start the mp3 player and close the flip, the music stops!!! That did not happen before!! Has anyone any idea of what is happening?
