E71 Free Space on C:
I have a small annoyance with my E71-1. A couple of weeks ago I was playing around with some themes and installed them to the C: drive rather than the card, as when I plugged the handset into the computer it would default to a boring theme. I kept my eye on how much free space I had on the C: drive using Jbak Taskman, down from ~50 Mb to ~15 Mb. When I removed those themes I didn’t want, the amount of free space increased to 18 Mb or so, but hasn’t been restored.
There’s no ill effect to the E71. I’m storing messages on the card, I’ve cleared the browser cache, but the amount of space on the C: drive is still at the 18 Mb point. Short of a factory refresh or buying an application that can let me look at hidden files, is there anything I can try?

Keep C: disk free
To get rid of all useless C: disk occupation , you ought to do a hard reset : be aware of having a backup of calendar and contacts ! Move all other important files , like Images and music to MemoryCard .
Reset Phone see this thread :

Install all Apps , themes and other files on MemoryCard when you have the choice . When you are a heavy user buy a 16 GB SDhc .
Here a thread about keeping C: disk clean (works also for E71) :

Hey jApi NL
Many thanks for the very quick response! It looks like it is as I had feared and I need to do a hard reset. If I’m going to do this then I may as well debrand the handset too.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll read the memory cleaning article too.

Yay!
Okay, I know it’s bad form to follow my own post, but I decided to have a peek at my C: drive all the same so I downloaded Y-browser and had a burrow. Quite curiously enough, within the C:\System\dmgr\10008d39\Contents folder I found a gazillion (!) ZIP files that were the downloaded themes I’d been playing around with. These have now been happily deleted and, hey presto, free C: space is back up where it should be.
