Question re File Storage...
Hi All,
Friend tried to bluetooth me a file...unfortunately my phone said there wasnt enough room as it must have been looking at the main phone memory...Is there anyway to make my 32GB default storage to fix this problem??

Files received over bluetooth are saved in your message inbox, so you'll need to change where your saved messages are stored. Go to Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Other -> Memory in use ... change this to Mass Storage, and answer "Yes" to move your current messages to Mass Storage.

Thanks Zxon for the answer to that question!
When I first tried bluetoothing files to my phone from my computer I quickly got choked on memory.
What we really need now is for you and Biggzy to put together a list of all of the settings/changes that you need to do to maximize your C: free memory.
He posted an image showing 54 MB free on C:.
Currently I'm running 24.2 MB and would dearly love to get that much more memory available.

Have now changed as advised....My Main memory is 11MB free which is shocking...I usually install all applications on the other storage so cant understand why there is very little space left.
Memory Details
61MB in Use
12MB Free
37KB Calendar
50KB Contacts
115KB Messages
0B Images
0B Sound
1840KB Video Clips
154KB Documents
7526KB MIDP apps
5268KB SIS Applications
47MB Other Files
Cant figure out what the other files are

Managed to find loads of apps that were supplied with the phone...Most of these are stored on the C:\ Phone Memory....
Can they be moved, or is it a case of uninstalling them....
A lot of them seem to be front screen widgets....Again can these be moved to storage rather than memory?

C: > Resource > Apps
My E90 : C: total 135MB , Free 105MB . Almost all Apps and Files stored on E: .
Maybe on your PC you can find the Folder/File structure . The Apps are stored in wheter C: (or E: ) > Resource > Apps . To view the structure I use third party Filemanager X-Plore : http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=xplore , also compatible for S60 v5 . It has many shortcuts to operate ( like : space , G , C , M , etc buttons) .
I never did , but you could try to move a not used App to E: and see what happens . Otherwise I suppose they have to be uninstalled and reinstalled again on E: (mass memory , MemoryCard) . The problem might be however the lost file , where to find the Apps File for reinstalling .
Hope it helps .

Update.....
Moved the messaging default storage and cleared out a lot of crap installed by the supplier....
Doubled my memory...still only got about 25MB free...
But my 3 Mail client which does my personal accounts no longer works as it will only work if messages are stored on the C:\..
I found Nokia Messaging which looks pretty good....But now I am getting an error randomly..talking about maximum connections reached....Please close one to continue...
Anyone else seen this and no a solution?
