I have got a proper MSN Messenger app for the N97.

It came with the phone which I have on the "3" network. A quick look on the about screen and a quick Google search brought me to the following site:

http://www.messengergonemobile.com/

Looks like you can download to your phone the official MSN Messenger by selecting your operator and phone model...

Good luck!

Fring?

Is Fring an option?

I have just downloaded this to my N97. I have it working with Skype. MSN is a supported service - I can't get that to work because it seems that MSN and Windows Live passwords are different and I only recall the latter.

Anyway, I've chatted to my Skype Friends using this. If you know what your MSN password is, then you might find this works for you too.

Regards
Neil

Late Breaking News

Typical ain't it.

Just after posting that last item, I managed to recall my MSN (not Windows Live) password.

Fring works for that too.

Neil
