UK Shipping Thread for N97
This is probably all very stupid and I'll be lynched but it may be worth keeping track of when people ordered their N97 from Nokia UK and when it gets charged, shipped and finally delivered.
With the release on the 19th (two days away), Nokia are running out of time to reach their own deadline advised on their blog.
So I'll start.
Pre-ordered 13th June 2009 at 5.43pm BST
Awaiting Charge, Delivery, Shipping
I would imagine everyone else is in the same boat. I would hope to see some activity today or tomorrow. Friday at the latest.
Let me know if you ordered from anywhere else - such as Expansys - and whether you get your phone on the 19th.

Yep, my thoughts aswel.
I go on holiday on the 26th so i hope it arrives at least a few days before then.

I've just received the same email as Shwaa. I pre-ordered the black one on the 23rd May, just two days after Shwaa.

Well at least something is happening which is really positive news. Just damn frustrating that Nokia couldn't be asked to be a little bit more open with their customers.
Allmine - do you mean 30/06/09 or 30/05/09?
Incidentally, those who have had confirmations, did you order the white or black?

PS I have not had anything. But I wasn't necessarily expecting to. At least not yet. Fair play that those who ordered theirs first get the confirmation email first.

ordered mine yesterday (16th june), got same email today and got call from credit card company, making sure payment to nokia is legitimate. Surely they will post tomorrow to arrive on friday

Please forgive me spirit44 if I don't instantly believe this. You only joined up today and this is your first post. I'll wait until I check my bank statement when I get home from work to verify this, but I hope you're right

Lol. I have been monitoring forum for a while, but was so excited to get email and then phone call, had to join and post. I'm just hoping all the negative stuff about the n97 is not true. But the fear led me to cancel my order with another company and go direct with nokia, so that i get the 14 day cooling off period without any hassle. Also got 15% cashback with quidco, so went for it

I might have to phone up later in the day to complain that the orders are not being handled in order if an order yesterday beats mine from Saturday.
Presume either it's been mishandled, or they have no white ones in.
Either way, Im calling.
