Question on Contacts with the flip up?

I have recently bought a P800, and in general it's very very good. I do have one question regarding contacts though.
It is possible to arrange the contacts into categories (though I'm having problems with this syncing with outlook - the categories sometimes just get lost!)
I noticed with the flip open, in contacts, you can filter by category. This is very useful, for example I can place numbers like the doctors surgery etc in a 'business' category and only display the 'personal' categories.
Now for the annoyance... I noticed that when the flip is closed and you want to quickly flick though contacts, it always shows ALL contacts! - Does anyone know how to get around this? - I would really like to be able to just show say 'personal' contacts, since I have a total of around 160 contacts and it's a real pain to scroll through them all.

Also does anyone know if we can get AvantGo working on P800? - GPRS is still real expensive and doesn't work on the underground!

Thanks
