Tidy, have you noticed a difference in the handset since upgrading?
Hoping that Orange push through v20 for their handsets soon (Tried NSU this afternoon but still stuck on v09)

How do you check it on your phone? I always try but it says invalid address or some other error type message.

How to check if an update is available, or the current version of the firmware you are running?
To check what firmware you are running simply dial
*#000#
You will then be shown a page of details about the software your phone is running.
To update 'Over The Air' then you can select Options > Check for Updates.
Alternatively, plug your 5800 into your PC and select PC Suite mode. Run the Nokia Software Updater program (it came on the disc with your phone) and you can update the phone that way.

Easiest way to check if a new firmware is available is to type your product code into this web page from Nokia:
http://europe.nokia.com/link?cid=EDITORIAL_528996#
Saves having to keep connecting your phone to PC Suite.
The product code is on the label behind the battery.
I'm on O2, and there's still no V20 shown for my product code

Theres some small changes to things like icons and menu's. I believe the real player is updated however im not 100% sure.
The most noticeable difference is its miles faster, it doesn't lag going through the menu's now.
I didn't have too many problems before but major gripe was speed which seems to be resolved.
Can anyone explain this geotagging to me........?

Geotagging is built in to the camera feature.
When you take a photo, the camera (or phone in this case) stores various data called EXIF data within the file. This could be date taken, lens type, focal length, f-value, flash used or not, etc etc.
What Geotagging does is stores the actual location that the photo was taken, in the form of co-ordinates. That way, when you look at the EXIF data, you can tell with fairly precise accuracy, exactly WHERE the picture was taken as well as when.
Hope this makes sense.....
