5800 standby clock

Just got a 5800 HK version. I was hoping this phone would display a clock after the screen back light has switched off, I know the N95 does this. I can't find the option though. This feature is super useful as you can see the time by just looking at the phone. Most Nokia's have this function, why doesn't the 5800
