BBC iPlayer problem in Pakistan
Dear fellows,
I have installed BBC iPlayer on my Nokia N95. It opens the page with all TV channels, radio channels etc successfully. But whenevr I click anything it says "sorry! This service is not available for outside UK".
Has anybody else livivg outside UK experienced this proble? What should I do to watch programs on BBC iPlayer?
Thanks for any fruitful suggestions if any.

I suppose the simple answer is to pay a TV license fee (£139.50p) like all UK residents as the BBC is not funded by advertising.

The BBC has no adverts and is paid for through a license fee that is paid by every qualifying British household. Therefore, BBC content is only available within the UK, so it won't work at all in Pakistan.

Apparently you can get it to work via proxy, but that applies only to PC version.

Don't you believe it BBC World is full of adverts and has become the worst TV channel to watch away from the UK.
You can't receive any BBC TV or ITV channels away from the UK. Not sure how to go about getting it via proxy. Anyone know how to do it?

I had heard this too. I was in the USA for 3 months and couldn't get this to work with any of the UK proxies that I tried, though (on PC).

Its ironic how most of Europe can receive BBC channels for free via the satalite system for a while now yet we have to pay for it.

bbc radio
hello, to listen to bbc radio, i would suggest using the site "bbcradio.mobi" this site is much easier to use than any other one, and it has a full list of bbc radio channels that can be streamed from an iphone, mobile, or pc. This site has all bbc radio channels, in both real player, and windows media player streams.
