Nokia Chat updated, parallels FriendView

Nokia's Beta development teams do seem to be working in parallel to a degree. With the launch of FriendView, their Chat extension to Contacts has now been updated to BETA 4, adding friend profile pictures on its maps, plus you can also now make calls from that view. There's also comprehensive access point selection (favourite Wi-Fi, preferred GPRS, etc) Which of the two chat/presence systems do you prefer?

Read on in the full article.

Friend View for the win!

It's simple, friendly and looks great.

Plus it works on FP2!

What is the point in releasing a new chat without FP2 support?

Friend View is more user friend ly

I find myself returning to FV every day, while chat is barely opened once weekly.

There are two reasons for this:
- I have a dozen contacts in FV, so there are updates and there are comments on the posts. In Chat, I have barely a few contacts and I do not enter just to see their status message changed. ;-)
- FV has a nice to look at interface.
