I've just reactivated my good old Nokia 6600. To get it up to date I've replaced the 32Mb memory card - a multi media card (mmc) - by one of 2 Gb capacity. This was not only suposed work. It did! BUT: Moving data from the PC to the mmc by putting the mmc into the PC's card reader doesn't work. In this case I want to put mp3s onto the card (an mp3 player I have installed already). After some time the transfer stops. All that's on the card is turned into some wild chaos of strange alien-like icons. Moving data from a win XP system to an mmc of a 6600 seems to destroy the mmc's Nokia formatting. Is that the case? Or is it all Bill Gates' fault again? Or is the pc's mmc slot danmaged? Does anybody have got a solution?
