No I dont believe so. However I suspect it may become common place given that development for Symbian can be quite technical and anything 'helper' application would be welcomed by many developers.
It is certainly not necessary for the Nokia 9210 or 7650. The P800 may encourage it but it wont be an exclusive thing I imagine.
