Which (smart)phone to buy, and the 5800 XpressMusic
My Phones Show 67 just went live, with a hands-on preview and thoughts on the S60 5th Edition-powered Nokia 5800 XpressMusic ('Tube'), plus a cross-platform feature analysing 'Which phone should you buy?'. Note also the RSS feeds for the standard and hi-res versions of the show, for your feedreader, browser or iTunes. And yes, Rafe's official AAS preview of the 5800 is coming soon, don't worry....

Oh, they do. My E90, N95 and N82, for example, all have exemplary build quality and have never failed me. But Nokia don't necessarily make the best PDAs or media devices etc. (Partly) hence the divisions in my recommendations.

Unregistered, Steve has had lots of praise for other manufacturers in his programmes, for example if you watch this particular episode you'll hear him talking in very favourable terms about the iPhone.
And to be fair, Nokia does sell more phones and smartphones than anyone else so it's not that odd to think that they make good devices.

Eseries
The build quality of Nokia phones depend on the series..Eseries has the best build quality compared to any other manufacturer product while Nseries dont...just compare the slide of E66 to N96!!

I think Eseries has the sleekest design style right now, especially the E71. I thought it would be just another QWERTY phone but then when you see it in real life it looks amazing.

podcasting app?
Hey steve, love the show, quick question about the 5800, is the podcasting app included in the phone, and if not would it be possible to install the 3rd edition version?
