Anyone running their E71 with a 16GB memory card? Does it work? Does it slow things down?
Running an 8GB myself, was maybe thinking of an upgrade.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I'm also interested, especially in the performance.
Hi I've just bought an E71 and fitted a 16gb card. Admittedly had only used supplied 2gb card for 2 days...but notice no difference in performance

Then....
I know the specs say that but there are people online that claim it will recognize a 16gb card. I personally haven't tried one so I can't say first hand.
Sorry to hijack this topic, How did you save all your music to your sdhc card.
as soon as I stick it in the card reader the computer cant see it any more(any of the removable drives)?
would i be right in thinking that windows xp doesnt support sdhc.
do you do your file transfers via bluetooth to the phone, is there a quicker way?
sorry to be a bit of a noob at this.
You may want to update the drivers for your port (SD or USB) as I can take the MicroSD card out and put it in an SD adapter and my SD port will allow me to drag and drop at will. For convenience I now just open my computer and then the phone itself and browse to where I want the files and drag and drop. It takes longer but now that it's loaded it generally is only a few songs at a time anyway. I use Vista now on all my machines but it was the same story on the XP Machines.

Hi. Im using an Sandisk Micro SD HC 16GB card. It works, but with some issues. When i try and open the image libary, it takes about an minute to load. And if i ad some music and press "update libary" nothing happens, so i have to format the card and import all songs all over again... But its okay for me, i usually dont add music that often... I have about 11 gb of music on the card.

Hi,
Just a thought. Have you checked if there's a password set on the card?
You can do that by going Menu > Tools > Memory > Options
If you have "remove password" among the options, then you need to remove the password before you use it with your card reader so it can be recognized by XP.
I hope this helps.
I also had same problem with memory card, when I inserted it into reader it said "insert disk into drive E". First, I thought that card reader was broken, so I bought another one but no improvement. Finaly I found out that I did set a password, maybe after 30 tries I discovered the correct one, unlocked the card and everything was OK again.
Hmm ok so to be safe just go with 8 gigs?
