[u]Removing[/u] p800 [b]old Browser [After Getting [b]NEW OP
Is there a Way to uninstall the Old browser ... i would like to keep only one browser in my P800 wich is the NEW OPERA which is going to be released in 5 Days ...... please ...programmers ...anybody please say how could u do it
??
i have tried uninstalling it from STORAGE manager ... it cant be choosen to uninstall ... it must be a way ?

NO, because it is instaled on ur ROM.So even if you were able to Uninstall it, you woul not be able to use that percentage of hard disk that it was saved on.
Woulda been nice though if you could...

Well, I guess it would be possible to remove it, but why would you wan't to, you can't use that space anyway... The built-in browser is in the ROM memory, so even if you manage to remove it completely, the free space cannot be used for anything else.
But what is cool, is that you can change the browser icon on the top bar to the Opera icon.
The Opera browser is tryely amazing! Works fast, and connects to Bluetooth with no hassle at all.

I thought it was capable of FTP. Oh well. Still a decent browser

Yes, it is capable of FTP. However, for some reason the browser fails to refresh once the ftp page/site has been loaded which prevents it from being viewed. I have to hit the "stop" button in order to view the ftp page/site. Any one else experiencing the same issue??

Yep, and then just tap on the globe icon and select Opera from the list below
