Oh another news that I've read on freak's blog already, it’s been days since I last heard news on the AAS that I hadn’t already read on some of the numerous Symbian/Nokia blogs!

I tried the previous closed beta version on my N96 and this one as well. I only get "Kyte: Media not supported" messages. Live broadcast works for chat but not for audio/video. Anyone with better luck with Kyte Producer on the N96?

Kyte is a brilliant, free, cross platform, player, multimedia authoring and broadcast system for stored and streaming media.

I read up on http://www.kyte.tv/home/index.html
Watched overview video http://www.kyte.com/platform/pg/overview_video

Then I joined kyte for free and setup first channel.

Then I authored some new media using photos, transitions, audio, video using tool at http://www.kyte.tv/create/createShow.html

Then in phone browser I visited http://m.kyte.tv/get
Then download and installed Java player for N95 and N82 and tested.

Then in phone browser I visited http://m.kyte.tv/get
Then downloaded and installed native authoring system for N95 and N82 and tested.

Then embedded my new channel into Facebook.

Lots of other options are available and there is a full user guide at
http://www.kyte.com/support/web_user_guide

I have so far only scratched the surface of Kyte this can do.

In case you hadn't noticed, AAS is about a lot more than just reporting news, we spend most of our time writing in-depth articles, reviews, analyses and editorials. We record podcasts, do videos, report from events, write how-to guides, and generally try to provide the best Symbian-related content on the internet. And it's all for free, you pay nothing for this at all.

Never mind the idiots, they unfortunately come with the territory. The rest of us think you guys do a great job, and we're very grateful for it. Keep it up!
