Cut-n-paste on the i8510

Hi all. As there's no pencil key on my i8510 (unlike my N95 and every other Nokia phone with Symbian os) anyone know how I highlight text or cut-n-paste?

Never mind. You hit the * key and copy or cut comes up in the list.

EDIT

You press and hold the # key and it's the same as holding the pencil key on the N95. (cheers Yade) The * still brings up the copy cut & paste options as mentioned.
