Mobiola go Wi-Fi
Utility developer Warelex has produced Wi-Fi enabled versions of its popular Mobiola Screen Capture, Mobiola Web Camera and Remote Control applications, claiming that the new connection method is "much better for presentation and frame rate". In addition, there are two new applications that I'd not heard of: Mobiola Headset and Mobiola Headset for Skype which (as they sound) make use of a S60 phone as a PC headset. Also worth noting is that Warelex is now part of SHAPE Services, another established Symbian OS developer.

I dunno... maybe I'm missing something but what's the point of being able to use your phone as a Skype headset?
Making Skype calls on your phone would be great, but all that this software does is let you make Skype calls on your PC via the phone's microphone.

Because it means you dont need to by a microphone if you dont want to, as you can use your phones built in one.

Yes, I understand that's the idea of the product, but who in the real world would want to do that?
What's the point in using a $600 smartphone to take the place of a $5 microphone?

Been using Mobiola, and trying out the different connections for a few weeks now. The Wifi connection has endless possibilities, from low level aerial photography, being able to see live images from your phone whilst up in the air, by either using a helium balloon, or rc plane, or helicopter, to cctv setups.
