Facebook regulars might like to note a new version of the FindMe application, now available and in beta for S60. You can find instructions on grabbing it here on FindMe's Facebook page. It seems as though it uses a similar white-list location system to Nokia Chat, although it uses cell location rather than GPS. Comments welcome.
Works ok on a N73, just had a walk into town on my lunchhour, tagging a few places on the way as it changed between cell towers.
Checking my Facebook status history now, shows my walk home.
Don't know what drain it places on the battery yet.
all in all a nice little app, but wouldn't want it running all the time as it produces a lot of status updates and I've not found where/if to toggle the update frequency.
