Touchscreen act a little wierd

Sometimes when using the stylus and typing or drawing, it makes some wierd manuvers.. and draws some lines from the bottom and up and stuff, that happend a lot if i don't use enough pressure when drawing, i notice it especially when i use the brando screen protector. Just try to slide it over while making small pressure on the screen, when using paint in jotter, draw a horizontal line multiple times...

Man...I just bought those screen protectors from Brano too. Can anyone confirm that???

Have you tried re-calibrating? Control panel>Display>Calibrate

Ever since I put on the protective film. I've facing the same problem like this but it's not critical and it happens once in a while. I believe that got something to do with those protective film or the way we use the stylus.

Well you can still buy from brando and it should be fine there.....I bought it already even though I don't have the thing yet because I have heard good things about them and upon receiving it, I am really satisfied with the quality.

I too got the Brando screen protector. Been using it for about a week now. So far so good. Been very satisfied with it. Maybe the touchscreen needs to be recalibrated

I believe that it has nothing to do with the protective cover. In the P800, unlike the Palm which has a separate area for Graffiti, the handwriting recognition software is a bit complicated because it allows you (in fact forces you) to write on the display area. The display area can at one time be a simple notepad but sometimes there are fields or boxes that you can go to directly by a tap (the software places the cursor there right away). So, a problem with the logic that handles the tap action compounded with a slightly off calibration may cause that straight line to be drawn on the screen from your tap point to either upwards or downwards and places the cursor somewhere else afterwards.

I did not encounter anything like this while using Jot with either my Pocket PC or Palm PDA.
